ANNOUNCEMENT

The Kings Arms is temporarily closed until further notice. Result cards should be either
posted to the secretary or left in the wooden "Bridport Skittle League" post box;
located on the brick pillar opposite the Boot Inn car park entrance, North Allington.
Matches to be held at the Kings Arms will be played on different alleys.
Which will be announced soon.

The first League Tables post has been held back due to the postal strike
but the most upto date version will be added over the weekend.

INDIVIDUALS & PAIRS ENTRY FORMS

Entry forms and fees for individual/group cups
must be returned to the league secretary by September 15th
(cheques made payable to the "Bridport Skittles League").
Entry Fees
Individuals: £1.00 per player
Pairs: £2.00 per pair
Ladies' Threes: £3.00 per team
Mixed Fours: £4.00 per team
If Forms and fees are not returned by closing date, entry will NOT be accepted.
Please see pull-out forms in league book for more details.

The first weeks cup fixtures have now been added.
The next two weeks of fixtures will be added shortly along with the rest of the fixtures
which will be added as we go through the season when they are drawn.
MESSAGE FROM THE LEAGUE SECRETARY (MARIANNE)

Would Captains/Teams please note the following:
All games to be in play by 8:30pm as per Rule No. 10 in the fixture booklet.
Result Cards
Would winning captains please return the result cards to the Kings Arms, or by post to me,
or place in the Skittle box (opposite what was the Boot Inn) by mid-day Saturday following the fixture.
This enables league tables to be kept up to date and cup fixture matches to be drawn on time.
All cup matches will be printed in both the Bridport News & the View from Bridport as well as be available to view online.
Changes since the printing of the fixture book
Six Charlies have opted to withdraw from the league therefore making No. 8 in Division B a No Fixture.

Due to personal issues the fixtures section took longer to add than expected.
However, I am back now and have finished it though it currently only contains the first six weeks of fixtures.
The rest of the fixtures will be added as we go through the season
along with a cup fixtures page which will list the cup matches.

The fixtures are taking longer to add as we are currently in the process of checking
the final proof of the Skittles Book, when that is done the fixtures will be added.

Edwin Chubb has now finished setting out the fixtures for the 2007-08 season.
With some luck, I should find a suitable way to display them and have the whole list up by the end of July.

POST-PRESENTATION UPDATES

Presentation night has passed; thanks to all who came. I have slightly altered
the design of the website using some pictures taken at the night and I will be shortly updating
the trophy section with the winners from this year.
IE COMPATIBILLITY

After posting/designing the site using Mozilla Firefox
I noticed there would be some errors for Internet Explorer users. Thankfully, I have resolved these issues.
However, i found that the website is also best viewed at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768
which is a suggestion i will add to the enter page.
